W.I.M.A. was established in 2006 to give further strength to the Greek maritime family by joining forces, and this is the secret of its success "strength in unity", according to Elias Hajiefremidis, President of W.I.M.A., and General Manager of HAJIEFREMIDIS S.A.

“In difficult times we helped each other. There is solidarity, mutual information and all this helps a business to be able to operate daily with more weapons in hand, ”Mr Hajiefremidis explained in an interview with maritimes.gr during the WI.MA New Year's Eve pie cutting event.

Today W.I.M.A has 65 member companies employing a total of 2,000-3,000 employees, he noted, adding that the most important element in the market is information and everyone in the union shares knowledge, contacts and information.

At WIMA we are a family, we have worked as a team on many projects with very good results in times, reliability and value, said Mr Hajiefremidis, adding that extroversion is also a very important element of the union that participates in international fairs and forums abroad.
