All the rooms of the Maritime Academy and GMC training center were full, in Piraeus on Monday, October 11 for the first graduation ceremony. Apart from the students who successfully completed the theoretical and maritime training in the largest Greek shipping companies, were Per-Olof Karisson, Head of Aboa Mare Maritime Academy (represented by GMC), Jaana Oikarinen-Vasilopoulos, special advisor, Finnish Embassy, Athens GR and representatives from the largest shipping companies, as well as EVEP President, Mr. Vassilis Korkidis.

At the same time,it was announced the cooperation of GMC with Alpha Marine Consulting

Capt. Ioannis Giannopoulos, Director GMC, addressing the new lieutenants, noted: "You are the first to receive a degree from Aboa Mare for the rank of Lieutenant and this is only the beginning for obtaining the next diplomas with us".
