After four years, the American P&I Club team had the opportunity to meet at the Poseidonia exhibition held the previous days at the Metropolitan Expo. It is worth mentioning that the timing of this exhibition also coincides with significant changes in the Club's management. More specifically, as of August 1, 2022, the CEO of the American P&I Club will be Dorothea Ioannou, who is currently Deputy CEO. For the past 27 years the CEO has been Joe Hughes, who will be stepping down. While Vince Solarino will also step down as Chief Operating Officer after 27 years and Dan Tadros, currently Chief Legal and Compliance Officer will become the new COO. The club's team is growing with offices around the world and is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized shipping companies.
